Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve, Colorado

The Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve is a large area of sand dunes on the eastern edge of the San Luis Valley in southern Colorado. It contains the tallest dunes in north America, dramatically next to the Sangre de Christo mountain range.
